Biography
Adiguzel graduated from Department of Physics, Ankara University, Turkey in 1974 and received PhD- degree from Dicle University, Diyarbakir-Turkey in Solid State Physics with experimental studies on diffusion less phase transformations in Ti-Ta alloys in 1980. He has studied at Surrey University, Guildford, UK, as a Post-doctoral research scientist in 1986-1987 and He studied on shape memory alloys. He worked as research assistant, 1975-80, at Dicle University, Diyarbakir, Turkey. He moved to Firat University in 1980, and became professor in 1996, and He has already been working as professor. He published over 50 papers in international and national journals; He joined over 80 conferences and symposia in international and national level as participant, invited speaker or keynote speaker with contributions of oral or poster. He served the program chair or conference chair/co-chair in some of these activities. In particular, he joined in last three years (2014 - 2016) over 20 conferences as Keynote Speaker and Conference Co-Chair organized by different companies. He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc- theses He supervised 5 PhD- theses and 3 M.Sc- theses. Adiguzel served his directorate of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Firat University, in 1999-2004. He received a certificate which is being awarded to him and his experimental group in recognition of significant contribution of 2 patterns to the Powder Diffraction File – Release 2000. The ICDD (International Centre for Diffraction Data) also appreciates cooperation of his group and interest in Powder Diffraction File.
Research Interest
Shape memory effect and displacive phase transformations in shape memory alloys and other alloys, molecular dynamics simulations, alloy modeling, electron microscopy, electron diffraction, x-ray diffraction and crystallography.

Roya Dastjerdi, 38, PhD, Associate Professor, winner of national and international awards, has comprehensively worked on advanced surface and bulk nano-biofunctionalization, medical textiles, regenerative medicine, DDS, green, smart, bioactive and antibacterial polymers, size and geometry controlled synthesizing of nanostructures, etc. She has successfully worked on the main fundamental challenges on different humanitarian aspects of thin, lightweight, flexible and smart nano-bio-engineered materials. Her accomplishments offer pathways for many advances with remarkable potentiality to scale-up. She has written one book in the field and recorded 20 national patents. She has been selected as one of the national elite and received more than 200 international invitations from high-ranked scientific events, institutes, publications, etc.

Biography
Dr.Elsayed Elkhatib is a Professor of Environmental Soil Chemistry at Alexandria University in Egypt; he received his Ph.D. Degree in Soil Chemistry from West Virginia University, USA. He worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Appalachian Soil and Water Conservation Research Laboratory at Beckley and as a Visiting scientist at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, at Blacksburg for two and a half years. Dr. Elkhatib's research emphasizes the fate and transport of contaminants under field and laboratory conditions. Dr. Elkhatib supervised /supervising 10 Ph.D. and 30 MS students. He is the recipient of numerous international research and higher education development grants. He is the author of 15 books and more than100 reviewed Journal articles and the Editor-in-Chief and Editor of two international journals. Professor Elkhatib is currently a director of the program on Developing MS in Water Research Management at Alexandria University" and is engaged in several projects on the subject of developing “greenâ€, low-cost nanomaterials derived from bio-wastes and industrial wastes for remediation of contaminated water and soil.
Research Interest
Nanotechnology-based methods for the cleanup of contaminated water and soil with heavy metals and emerging contaminants, use of nanomaterials to mitigate environmental stress response in plants, waste management/treatment, risk assessment, development of "green" solutions to environmental pollution problems.
